Can Climate Policies Foster Gender Equality?

This briefing paper presents an overview of how current climate policies are taking gender into consideration; focusing on climate policies at both national (i.e. in developed and developing countries) and multilateral levels (i.e. in UNFCCC). The paper also highlights some pionners and ways forward on how such policies can better take into account the specific impacts of climate change on women.
