The UNFCCC has been the main place where all countries negotiate on the critical issue of climate change. Since the historic achievement of Paris Agreement, all countries have now the responsibility to mitigate their environmental contribution and adapt their economic, agricultural and social systems to one of the greatest challenge of recent times. The UNFCCC should be effectively leveraged in setting, monitoring and implementing equitable global climate strategies supportive of sustainable development.
