Climate, Food, Trade: Where is the Policy Nexus? – Tanzania

This research study, undertaken by a multi-disciplinary team of three Tanzanian experts, aims to fill the current knowledge gaps on the three-dimensional relationship between trade, climate change and food security, and to provide recommendations for more holistic policy responses to the challenge of climate-related hunger, including through trade. To do so, the authors reviewed the existing literature and relevant policies in place in all three areas of food security, trade and climate change, before examining existing and missing links between them. This publication is part of a series of five country studies conducted in the EAC member countries Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda.
