African countries are particularly vulnerable to climate change.

Their economic activity is mainly based on natural resources exploitation. As biodiversity and ecosystem can be disturbed by climate change, it hence has direct effects on agriculture. The Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) will be an opportunity to implement a climate-resilient agricultural system in the region, but many technologies will have to be accessed and developed in the first place.
